The six lines
Line 1. The enthusiasm that manifests too early brings misfortune. Avoid displaying enthusiasm without a solid foundation. Wait for the appropriate moment before acting or exposing yourself.
Line 2. Steadfast as the stone. Before the day ends, righteousness brings good fortune. Ground your enthusiasm in solid principles. Thus, it will not be fleeting, but beneficial.
Line 3. Joy that lifts the head with vanity brings regret. Delay also brings regret. Neither rush excessively, nor postpone what must be done. Cultivate balance in expressing your energy.
Line 4. Guided by enthusiasm, one attains great achievement. Do not doubt. Friends unite. Allow your enthusiasm to inspire and unite people. Cooperation is the key to great achievements.
Line 5. Constant joy, even in illness, does not perish. Maintain a joyful and confident spirit even in the face of difficulties. Inner resolve sustains life.
Line 6. Obscured enthusiasm. Change may rectify. No blame. Do not fear acknowledging mistakes and changing direction. The ability to transform restores harmony.
